Comprising two sets of hand-painted soldiers, linen and paper tents, wagons, horses, campfires and trees. Multiple defects, especially missing arms on the soldiers.

A RARE SET OF FOUR WOODEN RHÖNER FIGURES
German, circa 1840
Hand painted and carved lime wooden, paper- mache, paper, wire and lead figures, two men and two women. Incredibly detailed carving and finishing, especially materials such as a cloth handkerchief or the wicker basket. Small defects, the male figure in yellow trousers has been reattached at his ankles, a piece of the walking cane of the other male figure is missing, but overall in excellent condition. Head and jaw not movable, rare size.

A "WHITEWARE" ERZGEBIRGE ESTATE

Very delicately made, unpainted wooden set consisting of a country house with an outhouse, a greenhouse, two pavillions, wooden fence, a green painted flower bed with bird bath and six trees. Only a few defects and a small repair to one of the pavillions. In original oval shaped bentwood box with a split.
